Some fresh corriander for today.

I’ve been growing some of my own produce lately. Here’s some fresh salad lettuce.

He seems to have taken a liking to lounging on my TV chair, if he’s not there, he’s watching the world go by sitting on the window ledge.

Meet Cici, he’s new. Yes, he’s a guy with a girl’s name. That’s so continental!

Tate Modern - Turbine Hall

I really like my recent London landmarks night shots even though a quick flick through flickr shows that I wasn’t the only one with the idea.

It’s strange night photographying in summer. Darkness decends pretty late and its pretty much shorts and tee-shirts weather. There’s also tonnes of people on the streets. I think I prefer it in winter when its darker sooner and longer, freezing even when togged up in several layers and streets are empty except for a handful of the more “colourful” individuals. I like that strange solitude.

Since I’ve pretty much got all of the typical London cliche’s at night on digital, next time I’ll try it on film. Fewer and lighter things to carry.

This year’s one’s by Frank Gehry who was also featured in The Simpsons with a wackily designed prison. While it was being built, it kinda looked like “Kerplunk”.
