I suppose this blog-based site will be about a bit of everything – work, life, photography, art, food and all that jazz. Rather than just writing about what I’ve been up to on a day to day basis, I think this time round my blog will be more of a web based magazine. Somehow I don’t think the world really wants to know what I had for breakfast, lunch, dinner and anything in between.
Me
I’m a Biologist by nature and a recent convert to Geochemistry I guess.
In what free time I have, I enjoy taking photos and have done for as long as I can remember. It wasn’t until late 2007 that I picked up my first SLR, a Canon 350D with the humble 18-55mm kit lens. I’m primarily a digital shooter but there is a time and place for film. I shoot a plethora of subjects but street, night and what I like to call “experimental” photography tickle me.

Other interests include travel, hiking, fishkeeping and cycling.
