OCD Hamster

Watson is a bit OCD, wherever I put the chunks of the treats stick he’s taken apart, he’ll always pick it up and put it back into his “computer” which he uses as a pantry for all this nibbles. He’s ever so tidy.

Unimpressed

It looks like Cici isn’t all that interested with toys.

A Little NG Fan

Looks like Watson is a fan of the National Geographic camera pouch I use for my G11.

2009: A Retrospect

Another year gone, time for another annual retrospective review. Not really in the mood to write much so I’ll just leave you with some pics summarising the last twelve months, but I’ve got to say that the highlight of my year was probably my trip to South Africa. That was really something.

Watson’s New Mansion

Since Christmas was coming up and Watson’s growing up, I thought it’d be nice to upgrade him into a nice new cage (Ferplast Criceti 15). Has a deep base so keeps all the woodshavings he kicks up in. It’s a pretty massive cage, even Cici seems impressed.

Hmn… what new toys to get the little black and white one?

Potty Training

Since I got Watson, I’ve managed to toilet train him! I noticed that he peeed in a corner, so I mopped it up with a cotton bud and swiped it around in the corner loo I brought him, swishing it around in the litter.

He’s a fast learner and now pees in his loo. It should make cleaning out his cage much easier and prevent staining on the plastic tray and corrosion on the bars.
