It is with great sadness for me to report that last night, Woody the wood mouse died. I suppose, in a way, he died of natural causes.
While I was putting in his wheel and computer house which I had just cleaned, he decided to jump out onto the floor. Cici was watching and pounced on him. I tried to get him to release the mouse, but he wasn’t having any of it. In fact, Woody bit me when I tried to get Cici to release him. Unfortunately, Cici sunk his teeth into him and drew blood. It was then that I knew that he would soon be dead.
Woody, may you run to your heart’s content in the big wheel in the sky.
