RIP Watson

Sunday, June 12th, 2011

He was such a happy little chap. Sad to see his corpse just lying there when I got back from hols. Not sure what he died of, there was still plenty of food and water left in his cage.

I think I like this as much as the grape.

March pet updates

Saturday, March 19th, 2011

Watson’s tricky to photograph, he’s always on the move, rushing about, unless food’s proffered, then he’s all munch, munch, munch.

Cici’s much easier, he’s laid back and quite amenable to portrait photography…normally.

Here’s Watson blowing a raspberry, or at least looks like it.

2010: A Retrospect

Thursday, December 30th, 2010

So, here we are, coming to the end of 2010 and time for yet another retrospective review of the year gone by.

One of the main ambitions of this year was the 12 hols in 12 months project, however, it had to be abandoned in November due to lack of time, and to some degree, funds. Instead of 12 hols in 12 months, it’s become 9 hols in 9 months. Not very catchy. It would’ve been better had it been 10 hols in 10 months, 10′s a nice and round number.

It seemed pretty appropriate to select snowy pics from Richmond Park to start and end 2010.

Watson’s hatching something!

Mwah ha ha ha ha!

Giant’s Desk

Saturday, October 16th, 2010

In contrast to my post on the Spyderco Bug, here’s my novelty giant pencil sharpener pen pot. It really does feel like a real old skool sharpener. Watson seems quite fond of it. In case you’re wondering, that miniature knife is actually a letter opener, something I picked up from Toledo. I think it’s a dragon with a knife blade sprouting out of its mouth.

Sharpener pen pot.

OCD Hamster

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

Watson is a bit OCD, wherever I put the chunks of the treats stick he’s taken apart, he’ll always pick it up and put it back into his “computer” which he uses as a pantry for all this nibbles. He’s ever so tidy.

A Little NG Fan

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Looks like Watson is a fan of the National Geographic camera pouch I use for my G11.
