As I Xi It v2.3

Another year gone, time for another annual retrospective review. Not really in the mood to write much so I’ll just leave you with some pics summarising the last twelve months, but I’ve got to say that the highlight of my year was probably my trip to South Africa. That was really something.

It is with great sadness for me to report that last night, Woody the wood mouse died. I suppose, in a way, he died of natural causes.

While I was putting in his wheel and computer house which I had just cleaned, he decided to jump out onto the floor. Cici was watching and pounced on him. I tried to get him to release the mouse, but he wasn’t having any of it. In fact, Woody bit me when I tried to get Cici to release him. Unfortunately, Cici sunk his teeth into him and drew blood. It was then that I knew that he would soon be dead.

Woody, may you run to your heart’s content in the big wheel in the sky.

Some pics of Woody. He seems to have settled into domestic life pretty well. Even learnt how to use the wheel! He also seems to enjoy Belgian waffles, but isn’t too keen on the Aldi version of Ryvita (Knacke) since he peed and pooped on it.

Since this little rodent is a wood mouse, it only seemed appropriate to call him Woody.
